About URAP URAP Projects URAP Application Information Sessions -- About the Program The Undergraduate Research Apprentice Program (URAP) is designed to involve Berkeley undergraduates more deeply in the research life of the University. The Program provides opportunities for you to work with faculty on the cutting edge research projects for which Berkeley is world-renowned. Working closely with faculty, you will deepen your knowledge and skills in areas of special interest, while experiencing what it means to be part of an intellectual community engaged in research. New research opportunities are open at the start of each semester. Student applications are due in the the second week of classes each term. For detailed information, please see URAP Application . Faculty and undergraduates from all of the schools and colleges at the University of California at Berkeley are welcome to participate. URAP Projects As an apprentice, you can work on faculty research and learn advanced research skills, explore fields that interest you, and find out what it is like to be an academic at the world's premier research institution. Each semester, projects from a wide range of discplines are open to new applicants. Spring 2020 projects are listed here . We will continue to add projects until January 8th. The application opens January 14th, apply by January 27th at 9 AM! Information Sessions At a URAP info session you will obtain more general information on apprenticeships, and get tips on making clear and effective applications.
